This is different than what Sadrul was seeing.

The mtn behavior is different than the svn behavior in regard to how
running commands in subdirectories work.  If you don't specify a path,
it will commit your entire workspace instead of just anything in the
current directory and its subdirectories (the same thing applies to
"diff", "list", etc.)
