I forgot to reply when I fixed this.

There are a couple glitches in trac-monotone where the mtn database
sometimes gets locked up and/or the cache gets corrupted.
When the db gets locked up, the solution is to replace the mtn
database with another copy (it is located at
/home/var/trac/pidgin/monotone_support/db/pidgin.mtn) and then
bouncing apache2.
To fix the cache issue, clearing the cache directory is necessary.
There is a script,
/home/var/trac/pidgin/monotone_supprt/clear_cache.sh, that will do
this.

I upgraded the TracMonotone plugin to the latest version - hopefully
this helps to prevent these issues from occurring.
