I doubt it's going to be a huge problem for the translators, but I could
be wrong. If you don't add it, then it can't get translated. Having it
translated in some languages seems better.

I think either you should add it to POTFILES.in, or revert the patch
entirely. It seems better to me to have the feature, potentially
untranslated, than to not have it at all. Of course, by that logic we
shouldn't have string freezes at all, so I don't know what to say.
