Release Candidate before 2.0.0?

Hey folks,

Could we please have a pidgin branded 2.0.0 release candidate prior to 
the actual release?

This would be very helpful for us distributions to prepare for the 
package renaming,  This would help us to prepare auto-dependency 
resolution, and fix up the many plugins packages, so we can more easily 
transition into the actual 2.0.0 release.
