Two questions:

How is a user supposed to close a tab? I do not see any close-me-buttons
in the tabs, are they displayed on hovering? Or is this gonna use
middle-click-to-close?

And: There is no offline user in your example. Are they still supposed
to be displayed in strike out?

If this were not the case, I would really like this compromise.
