Seperate account prefrences and status

First, thanks for all the work on Pidgin.  I'm a long time Gaim user.  This 
is my first time using Pidgin and I'm seriously confused by the loss of what 
I consider standard features.  If I'm just missing them, feel free to set me 
straight.

Where is the ability to set a particular account to log on or not log on 
upon launch?  I'd like to specify that at the account level.

Where is the ability to set the online status per account?

It seems that, currently, its all or none: all accounts log in at launch, 
all accounts are the same status.  For a person with separate work and 
personal accounts, this is a problem and I hope I'm just missing the 
obvious.  I'm running 2.0.1-1.fc6.
