Pidgin and SLL

Hi all,
I built pidgin 2.0.2 sources in Ubuntu Feisty with gnutls option enabled in
the configure script. I checked the runtime links regarding to SSL as
specified in the FAQ and everything seems to be correct. However, when I log
into my amsn account and sniff the network  traffic to see what's going on,
I can see all my MSN traffic in plaintext.

Any hints?
