perl plugin in windows

Aloha !
I'm trying to learn how to develop some plugins for pidgin in perl,
but I´m not able to even start ...=)

I installed activeperl, and saved some basic test plugin at the
plugins folder ... but id don´t show up at the plugins list ...

what am I missing ?
