It seems to me like you'd want to create a status with MSN "Offline" and
use that from one UI. I'm not sure if we do the
default-status-at-startup by UI or in Purple. If it's in the UI, you'd
be set. Otherwise, you'd have to start one with -n, which would get
annoying.
