Solution for Voice Support in Pidgin

Respected Developers,
I m getting very curious about why has the voice support have not been
yet available in Pidgin. One of the way i think of implementing voice
suport in Pidgin is that we can make use of the available libraries
provided by Google. One such libraries is Google Talk XMPP API which
provides the support of lipjingle library to connect o IM through
Google talk. I wanted to know whether we could use such APIs and if
not why we cant use them and what will be the technical difficulties
faced by the developers. I a eagerly waiting for the reply.
