Not to start a "bidding war" here, but I should note that I talked it
over with my boss at Steadfast Networks and we are also prepared to
provide a dedicated server for free, depending on bandwidth
arrangements, with the single requirement of a button indicating our
hosting services are used at the bottom of the site (similar to what we
already do for DV LABS).
If there is any benefit to distributing servers to more than one
location, or if there is any reason NetworkRedux is not suitable, we
should be able to accommodate Pidgin.
Initial discussion suggests we may be able to offer a Dual Xeon 3.0 or
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 box for this purpose. If useful, let me know, I
can push it through fairly quickly.
