A new-msg-notify-tool for Pidgin

Hi guys,
i am diving into DBus interface with Python these days, and write a script to notify when a new msg arrives, using the dbus interface and desktop notification.
i don't know whether this kind of notify tool exists. 

anyway, you guys can try my tool and give me some pointers and suggestions.

TODO:
1. support the buddy icon
2. display the nickname/alias
3. when clicked the notification, the tray status changed.
