Developing audio support

Hi everyone,

I could work next months on a project involving VoIP, SIP and SIMPLE, and since I found only crappy opensource clients around, I was thinking about helping to implement audio support in Pidgin, then I could just develop a plugin for SIP/SIMPLE account in Pidgin and use it for my project.

Since it's not an immediate thing (we speak about months), I could take some time to study Pidgin and maybe in the meanwhile you already finished the audio support :p

 

Any hint, tip, help, comment or suggestion by your side? J
