Saving preferences and/or buddy list in server

hi all!

I was reading xmpp specs and I found the following:

How to store user-defined XML data on a Jabber server (for client
configuration settings, bookmarks, etc.)

I´d like to know how can I save these using pidgin? Is there any way? Is
this a server feature that I should setup? I´m running jabberd14
