Personally I use 2.4.1 (current ubuntu version).

My father is using 2.5.1 on Windows. Currently I have checked the
windows build (http://www.pidgin.im/download/windows/) myself. It is
2.5.1 and it has the problem.

The field is called "Username" for ALL protocols in English, the same
for the Russian ("Имя пользователя").

P.S. tray context menu is also untranslated, though I'm sure it is
russian localization team issue.
