Yes, this is exactly what I meant. I also propose to implement
validate_login function in the PurplePluginInfo to prevent user from
enetering an incorrect text to the editbox.

Many thanks Peter for digging the code.

As I understand these features are not implemented yet, right? (I
browsed the sourcecodem but not 100% sure). So if core Pidgin developers
would approve the changes I'd like to start coding this.
