Help writing File Transfer plugin

hi,

I'm new to the list and pidgin development too.  I need to write a plugin
for file transfer which would enable transferring multiple files for gtalk /
yahoo.   My basic need is to automate file transfer process.

Is it possible using libpurple.  If yes can i get any pointers?   I read the
documenttaion given on the website and its very vague.   It would be great
if you guys could help me jumpstart on this issue.
