Pidgin 2.5.4?

I have applied darkrain42's patch to fix the Windows hang-on-exit, as well as a
couple other minor patches.  Given how many duplicate tickets we've had for the
hang-on-exit issue, I'd like to see us string freeze on Sunday and release on
Thursday, January 9.  There haven't really been that many string changes that we
need to worry about.  Thoughts?
