Libpurple / http method‏

Hi,

I'm using the libpurple "nullclient.c" example and I'm
having trouble to get trough a proxy. The access is denied because he
won't tunnel the 1863 port (msn). It's probably because I'm not using
the http method.
How can I do that ?
