In addition to Mark's questions, which you haven't answered ("Are you
sure your plugin is loaded? Is the call to purple_signal_connect()
definitely getting called?"), I would ask how you're determining your
function isn't getting called and does the debug window show any errors
when you call purple_signal_connect()?
