Pidgin not responding, have to kill with Taskmanager

Guten Tag Pidgin Devel,

starting Pidgin, i have no away option set - only manual.

If i do not use Pidgin for about 10-20 minutes, then i can no longer
switch to the window, because it is no longer responding.
Have to kill it with Taskmanager.

Windows XP 5.1 build 2600 Service Pack 2
AMD Athlon Dual Core 4850e 2,50 GHz, 4 GB RAM

Is there anything i could do to track this down to it's error cause?
