How to enable core dump for pidgin.

Hi All,

Recently I have noticed that pidgin was crashing for some
reason, so I have tried to set the core dump for the
pidgin and when crash occurs I am trying to figure out
the reason based on the core dump.

I am running below commands to enable the core dump.

ulimit -c unlimited

I have started the pidgin from root.

So I am excepting that the core dump for the pidgin
will be present in the root folder in case of crash.

Can any one suggest us whether I am heading in right direction or not,
or do we have any other way to set core dump for pidgin
in case of crash.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks.
