How see the pidgin log

tomcat and httpd are servers, many servers keep logs of things that connect to them.

pidgin is a client, most clients keep no such logs (because they are incredibly less useful).

pidgin can log conversations if you turn the preferences for that on.

pidgin can log buddy status changes, etc. if you turn on the 'System' log.

That's about it.
