Lin, your question is better addressed to the devel mailing list,
instead of individual contributors.

Pidgin itself is not built using Visual Studio.
http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/BuildingWinPidgin has information on
setting up a build environment.

There /was/ a Summer of Code project last year to make libpurple
build-able in Visual Studio, although I'm uncertain what the end result
was.  Hopefully someone else can follow-up with more details.

I am learning about Pidgin.
I want to work on Visual Studio 2008(VS) development tool.
I see following additional files on VS:
test.vcproj.user,test.idc,test.sln,test.vcproj.JIEXI003.Administrator.user,test.vcproj.JIEXI008.Administrator.user,test.vcproj,test.ncb.
But I still can not compile on the windows?
Could you please give me some helps, thank you very much.
