Nope, I meant "minor" where the "minor release" is the entire set of
2.7.x and compatibility is retained within it. I should probably have
appended the word "series." Maintaining compatibility for the entire
micro release would be a single release.

Likewise here, and I did mean forward. This is what I get for writing
