PurpleConversation is NULL on new incoming message (received-im-msg)

New incoming conversations for IM messages don't provide a PurpleConversation value.
I tried to lookup based on sender, however the conversation hasn't been created yet.
 
Is there a woork-around?   I suspect I could wait for the conversation create and try to coorelate the sender to the name.
