Various mostly bonjour related fixes

Mark Doliner spake unto us the following wisdom:

Please clarify what you mean by "these".  I have already applied three
patches to 2.x.y, but they are very clearly just bugfixes.  The fourth
patch (patch #2) is also a bugfix, but it requires some API changes
and may not interact well with non-dual stack IP stacks.
