Failed to compile trunk on openSUSE 12.2

Hi,

I have just updated my machine from openSUSE 11.4 to 12.2 and I was
unable [1] to compile the latest version of Pidgin.

I digged around it, and found out, that there is no -lX11 added for
pidgin linking. Patch [2] fixed this. Is it correct way to fix that?
Can I commit?
