GSOC: rewriting chat log

Hi,

my name is Hendrik and I plan to apply at GSOC. So I though it would be 
nice to introduce myself here on the devel mailing list. I'm interested 
on rewriting the chat log backend and frontend. Some time ago I wrote a 
plug in for Pidgin, that you can find at:

I'm from Germany and at the moment I'm studying for the master's degree 
in computer sciences.
