XMPP improvements

Hello,
I am interested in implementing support for XEPs listed in the ideas list (
XEP-0184, XEP-0198, and XEP-0308). I have 4 year long experience in C/C++
and I did network programming as well (mostly for my university projects)
and that's why I thought it could be the right place for me.

I was thinking about writing them as plugins - do you think it would be ok?
And is it sufficient for GSoC project?

I'd appreciate any comments or suggestions,
