Merge GPlugin branch

Currently one of the main problems is installing the GPlugin
dependency. I can not find any binary RPM or DEB packages e.g. here:
http://search.rpmseek.com/search.html

Compiling GPlugin is also no fun, because of all it's dependencies
e.g. to Javascript.

Any hints for installing GPlugin?
