screensaver support in Pidgin?

I think I found the one problem, I had another pidgin session on a second computer. Seems
like pidgin/SIPE gets confused when more than one session ?
Also, I found this plugin https://costela.net/projects/awayonlock/ ( https://github.com/costela/awayonlock )
Makes me Away directly when locking screen and Available when I unlock. Maybe something to
integrate directly into pidgin?

Also, other users report can see Status go to Available as soon as you touch the keyboard/mouse even if the screen remains locked.

Hi Eion, thanks for asking
ATM I am using latest release-2.x.y branch(and latest git version of Pidgin SIPE) on Gentoo.
When I lock the screen nothing happens until Idle time has passed(1 min in this test case). The the Status text changes to
"I'm not here right now" but Status remains Available, unlocking the screen, the text "I'm not here right now" remains.
I would expect Status to change directly to Away when I lock and back to Available when I unlock.

Hi Jocke,
What OS and version of Pidgin are you using?
Cheers,
Eion

I have tried the enabling the screensaver support in Pidgin to control my Status(Away or Available)
but nothing happens w.r.t status and locked screen. Is this working for someone else?
