Compile problem Pidgin on Darwin 8.10.0

After installing the depend packages and using the switches to  
disable when configuring I still have some dependency conflicts left:

dpkg: afhankelijkheidsproblemen verhinderen de configuratie van gtk2- 
engines:
  gtk2-engines is afhankelijk van gtk+2 (>= 2.2.4-1); maar:
   Pakket gtk+2 is nog niet geconfigureerd.
  gtk2-engines is afhankelijk van pango1-xft2 (>= 1.2.5-1); maar:
   Pakket pango1-xft2 is nog niet geconfigureerd.
/sw/bin/dpkg: fout bij afhandelen van gtk2-engines (--configure):
  afhankelijkheidsproblemen - blijft ongeconfigureerd
dpkg: afhankelijkheidsproblemen verhinderen de configuratie van pango1:
  pango1 is afhankelijk van pango1-xft2 (>= 1.2.1-25); maar:
   Pakket pango1-xft2 is nog niet geconfigureerd.
/sw/bin/dpkg: fout bij afhandelen van pango1 (--configure):
  afhankelijkheidsproblemen - blijft ongeconfigureerd
Fouten gevonden tijdens behandelen van:
  pango1-xft2
  gtk+2
  gtk2-engines
  pango1
E: Sub-process /sw/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
