Users not on contact lists

Pidgin is cool. With one exception: Using Yahoo! Messgenger I could
prevent people from IM'ing me if they were not on my contact list.
Pidgin seems to have no such option unless I am missing it somewhere.

Y! for linux sucks big time but because of the webcam spam on yahoo
these days I am considering going back since I dont need windows popping
up every half hour or so stealing focus from whatever I am doing.

Am I missing an option somewhere?

I am using 2.1.1-1.fc7
