bogus gtalk disconnections (libpurple issue?)

I get the <-Disconnect ->Reconnect icons in both Pidgin and Adium.

As I mentioned, the gtalk user is using the actual Google chat client on
a PC, and she reports that I'm the only person she is having this
problem with, other than another Adium user (who lives on a different
coast).  SHE gets errors that I have gone offline and that some of her
text did not get transmitted.  I am attaching output from the Pidgin
system log below.

Also, I am using Pidgin 2.2.0 at work, over a T1, and I am using Adium
1.1.2 at home, over a cable modem.  It really can't be a problem with
networking on my side, and if it is a problem with networking on her
side, why doesn't it affect other Google chat users that she talks to?

To me, this pretty definitely points to a libpurple issue.

The adium bug ticket I mentioned is here:

However, since it affects pidgin as well, this would seem like a better
place to deal with the problem.
