IRC question

Hi there,

first of all i like to express my thank for making this great IM 
product im using it more the a year and Im very satified about it!!!

now my question:
is there anyway to make some kind of perform (start up) script when 
you logon to a IRC server (like Mirc or hirc have). This is mainly 
aimed for logging into bots, logging into channels ain't a problem.
