Really Mute Pidgin (GTK/Win)

I had to reformat my PC, and now pidgin is doing a lot of noise, when there
are errors.

If i recall correctly, it is actually GTK doing the noise, and i remember i
edited a file so it won't "beep" on errors, but i can no longer find the
file.

Does anybody knows?
