In the attached log, there is nothing out of the ordinary that I can
see; the server is sending a number of buddy status updates
(specifically buddies logging out) and then terminating the
connection:

(11:07:33) jabber: Recv (ssl)(80): <presence type="unavailable"
from="bburkard at srv-cle2/Home" to="cvang at srv-cle2"/>
(11:07:33) blist: Updating buddy status for bburkard at srv-cle2 (XMPP)
(11:07:34) jabber: Recv (ssl)(78): <presence type="unavailable"
from="jsmith at srv-cle2/Home" to="cvang at srv-cle2"/>
(11:07:34) blist: Updating buddy status for jsmith at srv-cle2 (XMPP)
(11:07:35) jabber: Recv (ssl)(79): <presence type="unavailable"
from="gnocera at srv-cle2/Home" to="cvang at srv-cle2"/>
(11:07:35) blist: Updating buddy status for gnocera at srv-cle2 (XMPP)
(11:07:35) jabber: Recv (ssl)(79): <presence type="unavailable"
from="tmelani at srv-cle2/Home" to="cvang at srv-cle2"/>
(11:07:35) blist: Updating buddy status for tmelani at srv-cle2 (XMPP)
(11:07:36) jabber: Recv (ssl)(81): <presence type="unavailable"
from="rsantiago at srv-cle2/Home" to="cvang at srv-cle2"/>
(11:07:36) blist: Updating buddy status for rsantiago at srv-cle2 (XMPP)
(11:07:37) jabber: Recv (ssl)(16): </stream:stream>

I'm not sure you understood the question about the server - we
understand that it is an internal server, but the question was "Which
XMPP server software is it running? (ejabberd, openfire, etc.)".

After figuring out which server software is involved, I would look at
enabling some more granular logging on the server to see if that helps
figure out what is going on.
