I can't connect to my google apps account

Hi there, first of all........Happy New Year!!!!!

Now, start with the issue: I have pidgin 2.5.3 installed (on GNU/Linux
Ubuntu) and I successfully configured my gmail and msn accounts but, for
some reason, I can't Connect to my google apps account from pidgin. This is
how I configured my account:

Protocol: XMPP
User: cgomez
Domain: almeraim.com
Source: Home
Password: ******

I don't know if this could help, but I paste the output of Help->About Menu
on Pidgin:
