msn Reading error

Dear All
I am using Pidgin 2.0.2-3.fc6.1 to login MSN through institute proxy. It
told me a Reading error, here is the part of the error:

(12:55:31) proxy: Attempting connection to 202.45.78.154
(12:55:31) proxy: Connecting to gateway.messenger.hotmail.com:80 via
myproxy.domain:8080 using HTTP
(12:55:31) proxy: Connection in progress
(12:55:31) proxy: HTTP proxy connection established
(12:55:31) Session Management: Received save_complete
(12:55:31) network: Entering nm_callback_func!
(12:55:31) msn: Connection error from Notification server
(messenger.hotmail.com): Reading error
(12:55:31) msn: C: NS 000: OUT

has somebody met the similar problem, and how to configure it?
