Are you using the plugin pack? Some time ago I had problems with the
album plugin that caused an error during initialisation of a similar
nature. It started about Pidgin 2.0.2 and although this crash is gone
now I still get an error nearly every time I shut down Pidgin. For some
reason, this does not occur with the debug version, so I have never
been able to capture a back trace. Windows XP, fully patched.
