Logs will be in .pidgin/logs.  you can handle this in two ways.

1)you can make that directory a symlink or hard link to somewhere else.

2)you can use pidgin's -c flag to change from using ~/.pidgin/ to
something else.

in windows, the latter is likely your only option.
