Mailinglist polluted by LAUNCHPAD

Hello Mark and *,

First I like to say, that a SOFTWARE is only good as its SUPPORT!

Now I am on this list since some days and already noted, that LAUNCHPAD
is poluting the Mailinglist with singel unrelated non threated messages.
Reading some of those clueless messages does not let me even guess, what
the questionaires are talking about...

Please look at
    <http://devel.debian.tamay-dogan.net/pidgin/20080611_150937.jpg>
which show the broken thread and then at
    <http://devel.debian.tamay-dogan.net/pidgin/20080611_151127.jpg>
where I have repaired the thread in "mutt" manualy

Such things make it VERY hard to answer and help.

They are two solutions:

    1) Droping the injection of LAUNCHPAD messages to
        push the mailinglist into a higher quality one
or
    2) Ask the LAUNCHPAD peoples to correct there setup
        and ADD correct "Message-ID:", "References:" and
        "In-Reply-To:" headers to the injection messages

I would vote for the second solution since LAUNCHPAD is database driven
it can be very easyly implemented.

I have my "own" version of LAUNCHPAD which "works for me" but it was not
a big deal to provide a Mailinglist and NEWS gateway.

Any comments?

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day/Evening
