change the arrangement of buddy status symbols?

Is there a way to have the buddy list right aligned - with status symbols
(eg 'available') on the right edge of pidgin window?

I'd like a way to keep an eye on buddy status symbols using a small portion
of the screen - and if the list could be 'flipped/right aligned' that would
work.  If there is another way to use a small portion of the screen - to
monitor buddy status - pls let me know.

btw - I'm on a Fedora Linux/gnome system.
