Notifications

Hello,

I have just switched from Kopete to Pidgin, but it seems that I can not 
get the same kind of notifications (?). I want the system tray icon to 
indicate unread messages only when that contact does not have an open 
tab in an existing chat window.

So I do not want a notification when the contact has a tab in a chat 
window that is out of focus.

I have tried the default "Message Notification" plugin, the Guifications 
  and the Libnotify plugins but have been unable to achieve this. Is it 
possible to do it with Pidgin?
