Crashes on windows logging into facebook

I run pidgin 2.5.1 on windows with the latest facebook plugin. Running with
-debug when it tried to login to facebook it says - facebook: couldn't find
channel and it crashes.It was happening sporadically withn being connected
to facebook in between, but tonight, it's crashed straight away on login 5+
times in a row.
