[Question #45099]: Yet another Pidgin/MSN Problem

Matt gave more information on the question:
When I try to log into Pidgin, I get a message saying "Connection error
from Notification server: Writing error". Someone had suggested running
the "telnet messenger.hotmail.co.uk 1863" in a terminal as a response to
a similar problem. I tried the suggestion and got the result I posted.
Sorry for not making this clearer before. Hope you can help, it's really
beginning to get annoying. Cheers, Matt.
