can't login to YM

I am getting the same problem on two different machines one at work and one
at home, both completely different IP's so there is no connection issues.

Both machines get the same error connection refused its been working for
months without a hassle.

I have tried various steps like flushdns but nothing makes a difference, I
have now stopped using pidgin until this is fixed.
