Statement in pidgin?

Hello everybody :-)

I am sure this question has been asked before, but I have searched high
and low for hours, without finding an answer.

Where in Pidgin do I edit my statement? I am not sure if it is called a
'statement', but it is a sentence that normally appears next to or under
a users name in the contact list.

I have been using amsn for my msn account, but switched to pidgin
recently. Since then, I have been searching for the place to edit
this...

By the way, I am using Pidgin 2.5.5 on Linux (Fedora 9).
