Persistent Chat Room

I auto join the room when I start the client.  The protocol is XMPP and the debug log is attached.

Are you joining the chat room via the buddy list or via the Buddies->Join a
Chat dialog?

What protocol is the account on? What does the Help->Debug Window say when
you close and then immediately re-open the room?
